SPOILERS FOR NEIGHBOURS, 15-19 APR'13 (6601-6605)
Horrified to learn that Amber has been conducting a secret relationship
with Robbo, Bailey presses Mason to tell her the truth about the break-in.
Jarrod's wedding fears look to be confirmed when Connor falls prey to food
poisoning, and Jade is stuck in a Seattle snowstorm. Robbo threatens that
he won't stop dating Amber until Mason pays him back in full. Though Sonya
& Angie mend their differences before the big day, Jarrod is forced to ask
Lucas to stand in as his Best Man. Desperate to get Robbo out of all their
lives, Mason agrees to do one last job with him at Lassiter's Hotel while
the Rebecchi wedding reception is taking place.
Jarrod's fears seem unfounded as he & Sonya enjoy an emotional union
shared by family & friends at a quaint little chapel, since the ceremony
goes perfectly leaving him & his bride blissfully happy. Meanwhile, Robbo
& Mason's robbery plan hits a snag because a security guard is not on his
scheduled break, then Sonya spots the two young males in balaclavas - but
rushing to the reception, she fails to tell the police that one man wore
a distinctive belt buckle. Kyle hosts the festivities as the happy couple
celebrate with a very special dance routine, but when Sonya throws the
bouquet a gas bottle explodes, and the marquee heavily collapses.
As many casualties are rushed to hospital, Karl helps Ajay who found an
unconscious Priya trapped under a pillar, while Rhys scrambles to safety
but ignores his badly broken ribs to treat the injured. Jarrod strives to
convince Callum that Sonya will pull through, but Rani is unaware that her
mother is in danger, since she stormed off just before the tragedy struck.
Georgia brings Elaine to see her son, and they resolve their differences
about him seeing his father, only for Rhys to suddenly collapse.
As Ajay & Rani wait for Priya to get out of surgery, Kyle has to break
the news of Rhys's heroic death to Vanessa & Elaine. Sgt.Turner begins to
investigate the recent robbery. Rani sits by her mother's bed waiting for
her to wake up from her coma, so she can apologise for their fight. Andrew
accuses Paul of not showing any true sensitivity towards the Erinsborough
community. Karl tells Rani & Ajay that Priya is brain dead and there is no
way of saving her. Five days after a wedding & two funerals, Sonya awakes
with no memory of marrying Jarrod, the robbery, or Mason's buckle.
Sonya struggles with her amnesia as a result of the explosion. Scotty
suggests to Georgia that they elope to Queensland, so Chris & Kyle reveal
that her fiance is 'into dudes'. Mason opens up to Lou about struggling
to fit in. Scotty is lost for words, but his reaction convinces Georgia
that there's some truth to all the rumours she's heard about him.
